About Al Vickers

Al is a Rural Financial Counsellor who works out of our Goondiwindi and St George Offices. He supports primary producers in Goondiwindi, Balonne and surrounding areas.

Al has worked across Southern Queensland throughout his career, holding senior finance roles in firms located in Clermont, Goondiwindi and Toowoomba. His expertise in rural accounting, finance and lending, as well as financial planning makes him uniquely equipped to help farmers with decision-making processes, providing options and alternatives that focus on costing, project management, cash flow, and budgeting.

He strongly believes in educating clients to improve their financial literacy enabling them to measure, focus and concentrate on financial and other outcomes.

In his spare time, Al enjoys working on his grazing block situated between Pittsworth and Mount Tyson.

Al works alongside a team of Financial Counsellors located throughout Southern Queensland, jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments.
